During August, we traded the quiet of Maine for the nonstop energy of Brooklyn. Between eating new yummy food and walking for miles through the city, I found lots of inspiration in both the feeling of New York and the details of its design. A cabin tucked down a long dirt road, a lake shimmering just beyond the trees, and the salty coast only a short drive away—Maine feels like the Pacific Northwest I grew up in, but with its own distinct New England charm. From weathered shingles and crisp white windows to cozy, fisherman-style cabins, I’m soaking up all the design inspiration I can, some of which will make its way into our booth at Oceanside Antiques and Collectibles this fall!

Hey pals— sending you this postcard from Tennessee, but still dreaming about the vibrancy of New Orleans. We kicked off our cross-country road trip there, and I didn’t expect to fall so hard for the colors. I might be rethinking every beige corner of our own home??

Building this site has been a little like rearranging a room—shuffling things around, stepping back, tweaking corners, and getting totally lost in the details… in the best way. We wanted a space that felt like us: a little vintage, a little playful. And of course, it needed a good soundtrack.
